Members of Isis Lodge, having been presented with awards by the Provincial Grand Master for their givings to charity as part of the 2022 Charity Festival
Charity and charitable giving is at the very heart of what it means to be a Freemason.
As a lodge, we raise money for both local and national causes. We look to support both the families of Freemasons and also the wider community. Recently, Isis Lodge have provided support to the following charities (amongst many others!):
- The Abingdon Bridge Project for Troubled Teenagers
- Maggie's Centre Hospice
- Thames Valley Air Ambulance
- Oxford Association for the Blind
- Brain Tumour Research - Oxford University
- Alzheimers Society
We are also proud to support an annual pantomime for disabled, sick and disadvantaged children in Oxfordshire, providingour very own Pantomine Dame in the form of our Almoner:

In addition to the support provided to Freemasons and their families, the Masonic Charitable Foundation looks beyond Freemasonry, make significant financial grants to charities that help people to live happy, fulfilled lives and to participate actively in society.
The Masonic Charitable Foundation is amongst the largest grant making charities in the country.
